Mogadishu, Somalia – A year-long nutrition initiative has provided essential nutritional support and regular health checkups to 160 children suffering from malnutrition and 160 mothers living in displacement camps.
The initiative focused on providing food assistance, conducting health assessments, and monitoring children’s growth and development to support their recovery and improve their overall well-being.
Through continuous nutritional support and health monitoring, the project aimed to address malnutrition among vulnerable children while helping mothers better understand and respond to their children’s nutritional needs.
The initiative highlights the importance of sustained nutrition assistance and regular health checkups in improving child health and supporting families facing difficult living conditions in displacement camps.
Continued efforts to address malnutrition and expand access to essential nutrition and health services remain vital to helping vulnerable children recover, grow healthier, and build a stronger foundation for their future.
